Now, here you have enter your Facebook username in the "Username" field, enter "chat.facebook.com" url in the "Domain" field, enter "Pidgin" in the "Resource" field, also enter your password in the "Password" field and at last enter your name in the "Local Alias" field.
• Select the "Advanced" tab. Here you need to enter "5222" in the "Connect Port" field and enter "chat.facebook.com" in the "Connect Server" field. Tick the check box for "Require SSL/TLS" to uncheck it.

• Now, Click the "Add" button to add an account.

• And finally, choose the check box for the Facebook account in the "Accounts" window to sign on to Facebook Chat.
