How to Remove Password from MS-Access 2007

Microsoft Access is a Database Management System and a Software Development Tool from Microsoft. It is one of the member the Microsoft office suite application. MS-Access stores data in its own format based on the Access Jet Database Engine. The current version of Microsoft Access 2010 was released by Microsoft in Office 2010, Microsoft Office Access 2007 was one of the prior version of MS-Access. This program allows users to protect their database files by encrypting them. So, To encrypt any file you need to create password first. And into that you cannot make any changes untill and unless you know the password that you created. You can also remove the password by decrypting the database which require to enter the original password.


Here, are the few steps on how to remove password from MS-Access 2007:-
  1. Firstly, Open the MS-Access 2007 application on your System. Now, Click the "Microsoft Office" button> Click "Open" option.
  2. Here you have to Select the database file of which you want to remove a password, So for in the "Open" dialog box> Click the "Open Exclusive" option.

  1. Here, Click the "Database Tools" option from the application at the top and then again Click the "Decrypt Database" option from the "Database Tools" group.
  2. Here, Provide your password into the "Password" field of the Unset Database Password dialog box.
  3. Then, Click the "OK" button in the dialog box and then the password will completely be removed from your database.

So, Always make an habit to create and use a strong password so that you can easily remember and no one can easily crack it, but somehow if you lost your password then MS-Access file will become inaccessible to you. So, in that situation you might get puzzle, So, In that situation you need to use Software to Recover Access Password to regain an access of the lost password.
